Yaqub al-Hadrami

Yaqub ibn Ishaq al-Hadrami al-Basri (117–205 AH / 735–820 CE), one of the Ten canonical reciters and the leading imam of Basra. He received the qirāʾa from Shallawayh ibn Mihran and others, with a chain connecting to the noble Companions.
